PRESS INVITATION 

WELCOME TO THIS YEAR'S CONVENTION IN HAPARANDATORNIO
16 — 17 June 2011    
The heading and theme for this year's convention within the framework of Barents Reunion is "From Small Town to Popular Destination", brand, destination, collaboration and success factors.The convention is expected to attract around 100 participants from four countries and five peoples in the Barents Region for two days of speeches and talks about collaboration and development of the creative industries in the region. Participants will also have many opportunities for networking and sharing ideas. The moderator is K-G Bergström.

Barents Entrepreneur of the Year
For the second successive year, the Barents Entrepreneur of the Year will be announced during the convention. Candidates will be nominated for the prize during spring via the Barents Reunion website (www.barentsreunion.com ). The winner will receive 5,000 euros from the founder of IKEA, Ingvar Kamprad.
The convention will be held in Joentalo inTornioand is open to media representatives.
