Barents Reunion is an annual event in Haparanda-Tornio to promote cooperation between the five peoples of the Barents Region, which comprises Sápmi ,Russia (Murmansk Oblast), Norway (Nordland, Tromsø, Finnmark), Finland (Lappi) and Sweden (Norrbotten). It is a convention on different themes specifically targeting enterprise, education, the labour market, energy and the environment, as well as culture and sport.
