ABOUT US

So what is Barents Reunion?

We promote cooperation between people living in Barents by offering a yearly forum for cross-border and cross-cultural meetings. We wish to increase mutual understanding among the five nations and give the people of Barents ideas and inspiration by telling real-life success stories from the region.

Our very dear Barents is a wonderful place for running a business and to lead a good life!

In connection with the inauguration of IKEA HaparandaTornio, Ingvar Kamprad donated 1 million SEK per year throughout the period 2007-2016 to fund an annual convention, Barents Reunion. Different cultural activities and happenings are also taking place during the convention. All activities are aiming to highlight the cultural richness of the region.
